Disclaimer and Conditions for Participation in Strides for Smiles Family Fun Walk

Thank you for participating in the 1st edition of Strides for Smiles Family Fun Walk. By proceeding with your registration and obtaining a t-shirt for the Family Fun Walk on 2 June 2024, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

Compliance with Instructions: Participants must adhere to all instructions provided by Strides for Smiles organizers, volunteers, police, Red Cross personnel, and cleaning crew throughout the event.

Safety and Conduct: Participants shall not engage in any actions that may pose a safety risk to themselves, other participants, or third parties during the Strides for Smiles Family Fun Walk.

Liability and Risk: Participation in the Strides for Smiles walk is undertaken at your own risk. The event organizers shall not be liable for misconduct, death, personal injury, loss, or damage to property unless resulting from gross negligence.

Supervision of Minors: Participants under 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult throughout the event.

Refunds and Admittance: Refunds are not available under any circumstances. The Strides for Smiles organization reserves the right to refuse admittance or remove participants from the Strides for Smiles Family Fun Walk for non-compliance with these terms and conditions.

Final Acknowledgment: By proceeding with registration, you acknowledge that no compensation will be payable by the Strides for Smiles Family Fun Walk organization if you are not permitted to undertake or complete the event for reasons outlined in these conditions.

 

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Due to the charitable nature of our event and its significance in raising funds for our cause, Strides for Smiles adheres to a strict no-refund policy for the 1st Annual Fun Walk tickets.

We appreciate your understanding and support in this matter, recognizing that the funds collected are instrumental in advancing our mission.

Ticket Transfer Policy: We recognize that plans can change, and in such cases, we offer the option for ticket holders to transfer their ticket to another individual. Please note the following conditions for ticket transfers:

One-Time Transfer: Each ticket is eligible for a one-time transfer only.

Holder’s Responsibility: The original ticket holder is responsible for any and all arrangements related to the transfer.

No Additional Fees: There are no additional fees for transferring a ticket, but the original conditions of the ticket purchase, including the no-refund policy, apply to the transferee.

Our team is here to ensure your participation in the 1st Annual Fun Walk is both enjoyable and meaningful.
